Latest Development: MOST Wireless Control Unit
5 December 2011 – K2L recently presented an evaluation board for wireless control of MOST® devices. The unit offers a seamless bidirectional connection of tablets, smartphones or laptop devices. An audio disk player for instance can be controlled with either headunit in the MOST ring or smartphone connected to the headunit via Wi-Fi™. Wireless control via smartphone can be done with a web-browser or with a K2L app.

Standard Audio Driver Stacks Layering for MOST
3 November 2011 - Without climbing a steep learning curve application engineers are now able to develop audio applications in MOST® environments. With K2L’s standard audio driver stacks layering solutions, for instance Advanced Linux Sound Architecture ALSA, MOST performs like any other sound device. Application engineers who are familiar with developing audio applications in Linux environment can easily develop applications on MOST architecture.

Covering all phases of a development cycle
18 July 2011 - In today's vehicle-EE architectures distributed systems are standard. Basis of these distributed systems is the interconnection of control units via different networks such as CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay™, LIN or MOST®. The K2L tool solutions enable to connect all automotive bus systems and support testing, simulation and analysis scenarios over the whole development process.

ACS now supports MOST on Android OS
8 August 2011 - Automotive Communication System (ACS) is K2L's middleware framework solution used to simplify MOST® application development. It includes a framework for embedded application development and a tool chain increasing the productivity of application programmers. The overall goal is to make product development more efficient and to make workflows easier for OEMs as well as suppliers.
ACS supports most operating systems. K2L now offers extended support for Android systems with both native C++ and Java code generation. This makes ACS even more flexible for its customers.
