K2L's core activity is the development of real time product software for automotive platforms. It provides software components and development and testing tools for the networking of embedded automotive devices as well as consulting and support services. While car suppliers are the company's primary customers, it also directly serves car manufacturers.

K2L has also completed several projects in other areas including the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) tooling market, defense systems software, and MMI (Man Machine Interface) development for laboratory equipment used in the chemical industry.

Software Components

K2L supports the development of automotive devices by providing configurable gateways, communication infrastructure frameworks for MMI-size devices, and MOST® drivers for dynamic operating systems such as Windows Embedded CE V5.0 and V6.0.

K2L's tools support the full product life cycle, from rapid prototyping to embedded device development to ready-to-run test solutions and highly productive test environments.

Consulting and Support

Consulting services address all aspects of developing automotive networking solutions, including initial concept, creation of specifications and requirements for buses and devices, system and software design, and testing of automotive devices.
